HOPE EXPLORED

Ever wondered if there's more to this life or wondered what all the fuss is about when it comes to christianity?

In January, we're running a three-session series to give you the chance to explore Christianity in a place where questions (of all kinds!) are welcome and no topic is off topic when it comes to what you want to know about christians and the hope they have in Jesus.

Find out more about the sessions and register today!

Ian

Pastor/church leader

Ian lives close to Jubilee Hall with his wife Lydia and his four children. The two led the team of people who founded GCW and are just as passionate about bringing the Gospel to Wakefield now as they were at the very  start! You'll often find Ian preachingand leading our weekly meetings while Lydia helps teach the children's 'Explorers' group. The two are always ready to welcome new visitors and their children can't be missed on a Sunday, often making sure new children feel welcome too!

Matt

Deacon/church officer

Matt is also one of the church's deacons  and ishe's all hands on deck  when it comes to handling  the practical and technical things that help keep our church running as normal. Matt lives in Wakefield and was part of the initial team of people who set out to start a church in Wakefield alongside Ian and Lydia. If you'd like to hear a little of our church's history, Matt's a good go-to!

Richard lives with his wife Hannah and their three children in the Netherton area of Wakefield and is also one of our deacons. When he's not knee deep in wires during Sunday morning set-up, working with our other deacons to keep things running smoothly or catching a break with some cake, he's managing a furniture store in a nearby town.

Don't be aftraid to say hi in person - they love a good chat!
