Christmas 2020 with GCW
We know Christmas may feel a little different this year for many but here at GCW we believe that the truth that makes Christmas such a wonderful time of year remains unchanged.
We love Christmas time as it reminds us of Jesus coming into the world as a baby to start out his rescue mission. A rescue mission that would end in his death - a death that paid for our sins and secured forgiveness for us all.
We want others to believe this truth and see the true joy of Christmas. Our Christmas carol services help us spread this truth and give our community a chance to celebrate it. Coronavirus restrictions mean this year will be a little different, and we can't do some of the things we'd hoped, but we still have some great plans on the horizion.
See what we're planning for Christmas 2020 below and find out how you can join in.
Christmas Day Service
We're having an outdoor Christmas Day Service at Jubilee Hall from 10.30am on 25th December.
We'll be getting together in a Covid-secure way to sing carols, listen to a Christmas message, pray and read the Bible together.
If you'd like to join us, please email us to book your place.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Outdoor Community Carols
We hosted a covid-secure outdoor community carol service on 20th December at Jubilee Hall and loved seeing so many of you come along. We were completley booked up in the end and it was great to have so many of you singing along to our carols.
Thanks to all who booked and joined us.
If you missed out this year but would like to know more about other events and services we hold, please get in touch.
Online Mini Carol Service
As well as hosting an 'in person' carol event, we've also created a mini carol service video for you to watch online. That means you can double up on Christmas spirit from the comfort of your own home!
Grab yourself a cuppa and settle in to watch our video below or on our Facebook page.
